San G baseball takes over sole possession of first place in SAL with 2-1 walk off victory vs Jurupa Hills on April 29, 2015 at San G.  Miguel Arauz scored the game winning run on a throwing error after Jason Wright's clutch double in the bottom of the seventh.  In the top of six, San G kept the game tied at 1-1 by nailing a JHHS runner at the dish as he tried to score from second on a single to RF... but freshman Brian Rivera hit 1B cutoff Dylan Konoho who threw a laser to C Adan Alvarado who applied a great tag at the plate for the out!  In the top of the 7, Jason Wright came in to relieve UCR bound Hazahel Quijada who had thrown six solid innings.  Wright retired the side in order before earning the win on his own walk off RBI.  San G takes the lead in the SAL at 8-2 ahead of Jurupa Hills 7-3... both teams go head-to-head again today at Jurupa Hills.
