Athletic Letters/Medal

• Beginning with the 2018-19 school year, SGHS will provide the following athletic awards free of charge (even without ASB card):
  • Blue, White, and Black Letter “G”
  • Second Year Varsity Medal
  • Multi-Sports Letterman Patch
  • Scholar-Athlete Patch (Fr, So, Jr, Sr)

• In order to earn a varsity letter, the athlete must meet the standards below:
  • Be academically eligible for the sport for the entire season
  • Must finish the sport in good standing, including CIF playoffs
  • Meet all sport program requirements as determined by the head coach

• As in recent years, the following athletic patches will be distributed free of charge provided the athlete has an ASB card; otherwise, the student may purchase the patch for the price indicated:
  • SAL Team Championship Patch                                 $13.00
  • CIF Team Playoffs (quarterfinals or better)               $13.00
  • All-CIF or All-County Patch                                      $15.00

ASB Card

• Athletes are encouraged to buy their ASB card each year in support of Spartan athletics and ASB as there are many athletic expenses covered by our ASB accounts.

• FREE Admission to Athletic Events!!!
  • SGHS students with ASB card get in FREE to all home regular season, non-tournament athletic events (does not include SAL finals or CIF playoffs)

• • Varsity athletes participating in sports that charge admission may get one adult family member into home regular season, non-tournament games for the “student price”
    • • Football – save $4 per home game
        • (includes varsity cheer and band with ASB)
      • Basketball/Wrestling – save $3 per home game
        • (includes varsity cheer and band with ASB, if performing)

• Purchase your ASB Card in the ASB Finance Office today to benefit on all of the other school savings and dances!!!
